They have no contact: Dele Alli’s biological mother speaks out about a shock interview

Abused at the age of six, started smoking at the age of seven and sold drugs at the age of eight. Dele Alli’s (27) interview with ex-football player Gary Neville (48) is intense and leaves a lump in your throat. The Everton player talks about his childhood, fears, trauma and his alcohol and pill addiction.

The interview is making waves. After the release, numerous footballers came forward and expressed their condolences to Alli. “I’m proud of Dele Alli for speaking up and sharing his experience to help others,” England captain and ex-teammate Harry Kane wrote on Twitter. English legend Gary Lineker also reports, saying, “It’s very strong and brave.”

In conversation, Dele tells Alli that he was abused by a friend of his mother when he was six years old. Now the midfielder’s birth mother, Denise Alli, has come forward and says she only found out through the interview.

The mother is crying

“I’m so sorry and it’s heartbreaking to think that someone I’ve let into my home has betrayed my trust in the worst way.” She also says she can’t stop crying since its release. Dele Alli and his biological parents are no longer in contact.

Alli says he was sent to his father in Nigeria at the age of seven to teach discipline. At the age of twelve, Dele Alli was “adopted” by the family of a former teammate. His son Harry Hickford is now his advisor.

The career of the former super talent was disappointing. At the age of 19, the then Tottenham player captivated the world and was celebrated as an exceptional talent. His lease with Besiktas was recently terminated. (jsl)
