It’s been a few weeks since there was speculation about his return. It was a possibility that both sides welcomed, but had not yet signed. Until today. El Cisne this Friday announced the return of Jabat, who was in charge of turning a team of very young players into a compact block that went strong in the Silver Honor Division and achieved promotion to Asobal on two occasions.

After a life tied to Cisne, where he coached the first team for seven consecutive years, the club created the figure of a base coordinator to keep Jabato in the administrative staff. The youth school is one of the pillars that make Cisne strong, and the coach saw that as the best formula for continued cooperation with Cisne because, as he said, “I am the basic coach.” With this entry into the club’s management, he maintained that relationship that has now returned him to the first line of handball. The team was relegated to the Silver Honor Division last season and let several players leave this summer. They are immersed in the rebuilding of the team and commitment to the quarry, which is proven by the promotion to the first team of people like Martín Santos, who after 9 years in the basic categories will be under the command of Jabat next season.
