How long will Ardon Jashari stay in Lucerne?

Ardon Jashari (20) is back in Lucerne. After his vacation, he returned to team training on Thursday. But the first unit on the field didn’t last long. It was raining cats and dogs on the Luzern Allmend. Is the sky of Lucerne already grieving for the young captain? Still, it’s not that far yet.

The big transfer overview of the Super League

Yes, there are some clubs after Jashari. Above all, Bologna. The Italians are already in contact with the player – although they are still willing to give up a midfielder before bringing in a new one. There is still no agreement between the clubs anyway. According to information from Blick, Rossoblu is offering a loan with a purchase option. That should hardly matter to the FCL. He doesn’t want to get in his captain’s way. But this is still tied to 2026. Lucerne is therefore in no hurry.

There is a lot to be said for the Serie A club

As Jashari has repeatedly emphasized, three factors are important to him in any transfer: “The club, the project and the timing.” That should be the case with Bologna. The Felsinei are a traditional club with ambitions for Europe. In Thiago Motta you have a talented coach, who uses a 4-2-3-1 system that Jashari already knows from the FCL, and in Joey Saputo, a potent investor from Canada. And in the town of Tortellini, Michel Aebischer (26) is a national team player who could help establish himself.

But that’s all still in the future. Besides Bologna, other clubs are also interested in the Baarer: Porto, Benfica and VfB Stuttgart. With Christian Gentner, an ex-FCL player works for the Swabians, who have a high opinion of him.

As long as no club guarantees the FCL the desired transfer fee, Jashari will remain with the Lucerne fans. So you will see your number 6 a few more times. Starting on Saturday at the official season opener with the friendly match against Excelsior Rotterdam.
