But Pilgrim did not make the final World Cup squad – suddenly an offer from Morocco for a change of country was on the table for dual nationality, including participation in the World Cup.
Over the weekend, Pilgrim decided not to change the dressing. She is now also missing from the final selection of Morocco. The striker hopes for her chance in Switzerland to participate with the national team in the European Championship at home in 2025.
