Four Swiss should have played their first round at Wimbledon on Tuesday. Due to the continuous rain, nothing will come of it.

Only Céline Naef (WTA 165) made at least a little bit of her Grand Slam debut. The qualifier, who only turned 18 last week, needed some warm-up time against Russian number 22 Anastasia Potapova.
