Tennis icon Roger Federer (41) came out as a fan of the band at Coldplay’s second concert in Zurich on Sunday. Federer took the stage in Letzigrund – and played and sang along to the song “Don’t Panic”! Now he puts the photos of it online himself. “The adventure of life,” wrote the record athlete, referring to the Coldplay song “Adventure of a Lifetime.”
As can be seen in the photos shared by Federer, he and his wife Mirka, 45, were apparently involved in the concert all evening. They show how the couple and the band prepare for the performance, how they put their heads together and how they actively help throw the various planetary balloons into the audience during the concert.
The audience in the stadium was excited about the surprise appearance of what is probably the most famous Swiss player and cheered deliriously. The band members of Coldplay also seemed to enjoy the prominent show.
A tough concert season for Federer! The Swiss superstar was already present on Saturday at the concert of Elton John (76) in the Hallenstadion in Zurich, together with his wife Mirka and their twin daughters. According to those present, the Federers sang along loudly and clapped. (kes/imh)
