Zaric, who has already worked with Framework at FCB, keeps the boss in Romania informed about what is going on at FC Winterthur, but it is not as if he monopolizes the frame. “He should be able to fully focus on the promises these days. We know each other very well, the content of the training is coordinated.”

If Amdouni, Rieder, Imeri & Co. win against Spain, Frame stays away from the Schützenwiese for a long time. Zaric: “I wish him and Swiss football that he can stay there as long as possible – and fingers crossed for him! But from Winterthur’s point of view, it’s nice to have him here again.”

Eight entrances – who else is going?

Unlike Framework, all other newcomers are in training. With Alexandre Jankewitz, Loïc Lüthi, Randy Schneider, Silvan Sidler, Basil Stillhart, Aldin Turkes, Laurin Vögele and Luca Zuffi, Winterthur has already announced eight newcomers. The team is still too big with almost 30 players, so two or three more have to leave.
