Retirement resignation: Caroline Wozniacki returns to the tennis tour.

More than three years after her last match on the WTA tour at the Australian Open 2020, the 32-year-old Dane will first open in Montreal in August and then play the US Open, she told Vogue magazine. She then has a few months to prepare for the Australian Open. The Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024 are also a goal.

“In the past three years I have been able to make up for lost time with my family. I became a mother and now have two beautiful children that I am so grateful for,” Wozniacki wrote on Instagram. . “But I still have goals I want to achieve.”

Wozniacki topped the world rankings for 71 weeks in her career, in Australia she celebrated her only Grand Slam victory to date in 2018. (SDA)
