The currently injured PSG star shares a picture of himself and his pregnant partner with his 210 million followers. Below that a long apology to Bruna: «Bru, I’m doing this for you and your family. I justify the unforgivable. I saw how vulnerable you were, how much you suffered and how much you wanted to be by my side. And I want to be next to you Now I’m standing next to you.”
He also writes: “I do a lot of things wrong, on and off the football field. Bru, I have already asked forgiveness for the mistakes.” But he feels obliged to confirm this publicly. “If allegations are made public, then the apology must also be public,” he explains on Instagram. The love for their unborn child will win and the couple’s love will grow even stronger, he ends his apology with the words “I love you”.
But his relationship isn’t the 31-year-old’s only private construction site. Brazilian authorities have halted a construction project at the estate of the PSG striker in Rio de Janeiro. This is due to a lack of permits and “environmental violations”, including diverting a river, unauthorized withdrawal of water to create an artificial lake, and illegal digging. Neymar now faces a fine of around a million francs for these offences.
According to Brazilian media, his father Neymar da Silva Santos (58) was at the construction site when authorities arrived at the property. Neymar senior then argued with the officers and was even arrested. He has since been released, but the incident is still under investigation. One can only hope for Neymar that he will quickly find his way out of the current losing streak. (mbi)
