The final Swiss selection for the U21 European Championship has been determined.

On Thursday, June 22, the Swiss national team U21 will play their first European Championship match against Norway. Now the final selection for the tournament in Georgia and Romania is known.

Of the players nominated for the preliminary camp, four players have to leave. FCB striker Bradley Fink, Christian Witzig from FC St. Gallen, Lucerne player Severin Ottiger and Andrin Hunziker from Aarau did not survive the cut.

“It was a difficult decision. The players involved all deserved to be at the European Championship. But unfortunately we had to commit to 23 players,” said coach Patrick Frame, who will take over FC Winterthur after the European Championship, the Swiss Football Association is quoted as saying. .
