With stripes to New Zealand: Nati presents World Cup jerseys

This is what the Swiss jersey for the 2023 Women’s World Cup looks like.

The Women’s World Cup kicks off on July 20 in Australia and New Zealand, followed by Switzerland against the Philippines a day later. Now the national team is presenting their jersey for the tournament with a video on social media.

The shirt comes in classic red and tapers to a darker shade towards the bottom. Graphic elements show the lines of mountains and are meant to symbolize the Swiss Alps. Thin white pinstripes with small Swiss crosses adorn the jersey.

The shirt is exclusively designed for the national women’s team and is therefore not worn by the men. In addition, it should be exclusive to the World Cup and will not be worn during the preparatory matches, but only during the tournament itself.

At the World Cup, Switzerland will not only meet the Philippines, but also Norway and the co-hosts from New Zealand. (byl)
