The Italian Andrea Mantovani and the Brazilian Kevin Manfredi were waved off as winners.

Double the fun in Bagnaia

Francesco Bagnaia wins the sprint in the “Biggest”. The Ducati rider from Italy starts from pole position and triumphs over his compatriot Marco Bezzecchi. Third place also goes to a Ducati rider, Spaniard Jorge Martin.

Ahead of the sprint race, Bagnaia also secures pole position in qualifying for Sunday’s Grand Prix, which starts at 2 p.m. In addition to him, the brothers Marc and Alex Marquez start. (SDA)
