The Denver Nuggets lead by 15 points into the second game of the NBA Finals – and still lose to the Miami Heat. Away in Colorado, Miami triumphed 111:108 on Sunday night. The series for the championship promises to be exciting.
Going into Florida’s two upcoming games, momentum is on the side of the Heat, who entered the playoffs as the No. 8 seeded team in the Eastern Conference and have since beaten all of their favorite opponents. It is the Nuggets’ first home loss this season and the first since March 30.
Nuggets star Nikola Jokic’s 41 points and 11 rebounds aren’t enough, as the Heat has built a 12-point lead from eight points in the last quarter and is unstoppable. Gabe Vincent has 23 points for Miami, while Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo have 21 points each.
The third game of the final series is Thursday-evening in Miami. (SDA/dti)
