Johann Schneider-Ammann’s Langenthal BE agreed with 53.4 percent. Only Doris Leuthard (60, center) could convince her housemates in Merenschwand AG – albeit with only 51.4 percent no. Ogi identifies the reason for the yes vote as the fact that people wanted something for themselves after billions had been spent on the Corona crisis, Ukraine or development aid.
