class=”sc-cffd1e67-0 iQNQmc”>

1/5
SP national councilor and Zurich security politician: Priska Seiler Graf.
Jessica Pfister

Priska Seiler Graf, what do other people think about you that might not be true?
That I want to abolish the army! Of course I dream of a world without an army and without war – but that is not realistic at the moment. But I follow the army critically.

What would you have liked to be as a child?
Ballet dancer. I danced as a child and after my teacher training I followed a ballet teacher training course. I taught during the day and danced at night. I was still fit then.

And today?
I do Pilates (laughs). In return, my husband gave me a ballet subscription from the opera house. And my Gottemeitli is now training to become a ballet dancer. So I still have one foot in the dance world.

Did you have a nickname?
No, no one thought Priski was suitable.

Who were you in love with as a teenager?
For men it was Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp. As a woman I was very impressed by Madonna. A woman who says what she wants, who gets her way. I also ran around like them.

That means?
With a short T-shirt, fishnet top and tights. 80s style. I was hoping Madonna would show us how to grow older in a cool way. But unfortunately I don’t think they are that cool anymore, at least visually.

What was the last thing you dreamed about?
I keep dreaming that I’m late for a meeting.

What event changed your life?
The birth of my three children. But also how you can grow into the role of parent. The great, unconditional love for my children still impresses me.

Languages – English and French. Small talk is fine, but I’m not as good at complex political conversations as I would like.

I always take the stairs for fitness.

Do you have a tick?
My husband would be laughing right now. I’m always afraid that I’ll lose my keys or my phone. So I check my bag dozens of times. Both are always there.
