For this group of people with an increased risk of complications from both infections, the Federal Office for Public Health (BAG) is launching a targeted, national campaign ‘Vaccination against flu and Covid-19’. It starts on Monday and lasts until November 19, the BAG announced.
The relevant information appears in various magazines, on screens and online in the context of health topics. The BAG focuses on people over 65 and people with previous illnesses.

In people without risk factors, the current virus variants generally cause milder illness. However, those who are particularly at risk have an increased risk of a severe course.
