Swiss nationals were advised to consider other exit options, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EDA) announced on Sunday.
The travel advice has not been adjusted for the time being. The FDFA reminded that Swiss nationals must follow the instructions of local authorities on site. The EDA travel advice published on the internet for the countries in the region is up to date and corresponds to the current assessment of the situation. They would be monitored constantly.
On Sunday, the Foreign Ministry in Germany explicitly warned against travel to Israel, the entire Palestinian territories and Lebanon due to the escalation of violence in the Middle East. (SDA)
