Moreover, this flight can only be booked via a special hotline, which has been passed on by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) to Swiss abroad and Swiss travelers in Israel, the Swiss statement said.
On Wednesday morning, the FDFA said that no further organized departure of Swiss nationals from Israel was planned by the FDFA. Those affected were advised to also check and book other commercial flight options. As soon as there are further options to leave the country, the EDA will communicate this.
According to Swiss, the special flight will depart from Zurich at 11 a.m. on Thursday and land in Tel Aviv at 4 p.m. local time. The scheduled take-off for the return flight is 5:00 PM with landing in Zurich at 8:20 PM. Swiss operates the flight with an Airbus A321neo, which has 215 seats.
