Last weekend, right-wing extremist group Junge Tat hoisted a poster with the words “Migrants go home” on the tower of the castle above the capital of Ticino.
Bellinzona Mayor Mario Branda (SP) confirmed on Tuesday a corresponding media report from the Ticino newspaper “La Regione” to the Keystone-SDA news agency.
Accordingly, the Bellinzona city government is investigating whether the conditions for a lawsuit have been met following the “Junge Tat” campaign. Mariawegelin, chairman of the SVP Winterthur and candidate for the National Council, resigned due to her involvement in “Junge Tat”.
