Right-wing extremists targeted after poster campaign: Bellinzona wants to sue ‘Junge Tat’.

The young crime could end up in court.

Last weekend, right-wing extremist group Junge Tat hoisted a poster with the words “Migrants go home” on the tower of the castle above the capital of Ticino.

Bellinzona Mayor Mario Branda (SP) confirmed on Tuesday a corresponding media report from the Ticino newspaper “La Regione” to the Keystone-SDA news agency.

Accordingly, the Bellinzona city government is investigating whether the conditions for a lawsuit have been met following the “Junge Tat” campaign. In addition, stricter access controls would also be explored as part of an upgrade of the Bellinzona castles. Last weekend’s “Junge Tat” campaign was the first in Italian-speaking Switzerland.

This weekend, the right-wing extremist group also made headlines in the Alpennordzeite. Mariawegelin, chairman of the SVP Winterthur and candidate for the National Council, resigned due to her involvement in “Junge Tat”. It had previously become known that Wegenin had instructed two activists from the group to support them in the election campaign on social media. Both have a criminal record. (SDA)
