The long-awaited final sequel Guardians of the Galaxy arriving in cinemas in Spain and Latin America this Thursday, farewell to the heroes who are for Zoe Saldanamarked before and after u wonderful universe with his music and sense of humor. “I’ve seen over the years how other superheroes in Marvel and other worlds have been inspired by it and tried to make their own. playlist unique and her own sense of humor, and I think that’s pretty amazing,” the actress explains.
Saldaña hides behind the greenish skin of Gamora, who in this new sequel “comes back from the dead,” even though it’s not her at all. “Even though Gamora is back, she’s not quite the same person, and that’s what we’re going to see in this volume 3,” he points out. And that’s the multiverse that Marvel introduced Avengers: Endgame (2019), which he continued to explore in the series Loki (2021) or in the latest adventures of Spiderman (2021) and Doctor Strange (2022), he allowed the new Gamora to reach the Guardians, who have never met Peter Quill or the rest of the team. “You’re going to see the dynamic change in the relationship between Peter and Gamora. It’s fresh, it’s different, and it’s bittersweet, but it’s definitely cool,” says Saldaña.
Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) that appears on the screen at first reminds us of that depressed Thor from end of the game, immersed in the grief of losing his partner, but soon he will focus his efforts on the main character of the story: Rocket (Bradley Cooper). “I think Rocket has a compelling story and the movie was always about Rocket’s credibility as a real character, not just some funny raccoon with a gun,” says Chris Pratt. The actor is happy to accept the new approach of the film, because “they have always been a group”. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to define a character we haven’t learned about yet,” adds Pratt.
Some close superheroes
Marvel has long expected this to be the final journey of the Guardians of the Galaxy as we know it, and the actor Dave Bautista (Drax) has made it clear that this will be his farewell to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “It would be a shame if they never came back,” says Saldaña, who defends that they “became fan favorites.” Although considered biased, the actress believes that “Guardians of the Galaxy” is special and stands apart from other superhero themes. “It has to do with the fact that we were the first, thanks to James Gunn, to include a combination of humor and music in the world of superheroes. That wasn’t there before,” says Saldaña, for whom “it would be nice” to see Watchmen again, even if it was with a different cast.
Continuation James Gunn As the director of the saga, he experienced difficulties in 2018, when some of the filmmaker’s old tweets came to light, which caused him to be fired by Disney. Gunn soon after apologized for the comments, which he said he regretted, and the main cast, including Pratt and Saldana, released a letter of support for the director, who would eventually return to finish the trilogy. Now, Chris Pratt believes that this film would not have been possible without Gunn. “This movie? No. Another movie? Yes, but it wouldn’t be this, it wouldn’t be as good,” says the actor. For his co-star, “James Gunn has started something very, very interesting and distinctive.” that it’s a little stiff to have superheroes who always know what to say, who don’t feel anything, who are completely bulletproof. I like that superheroes are scared and full of uncertainty and make a mistake and then fix it. I think there’s something about that that one can identify a lot,” concludes Saldaña.
