Writers strike in Hollywood over live performance

Screenwriters not only want higher wages and shorter working hours, but also aspects such as the ability to work in different productions, the fees they charge when their work is broadcast on streaming or the use of artificial intelligence in the screenwriting process. Colpisa reports that the budget for television series has increased by 50% in the last decade, while the average salary of screenwriters has decreased by 4%.
