The question is good. But unfortunately not very realistic. Too often we behave in ways that are psychologically beneficial to us and others. Instead, we prefer to satisfy our immediate needs, no matter the cost. So the question is more: how are you most likely to behave? And most likely, you will let your feelings get the better of you and do your best to get this woman to break up so that you can be with her as soon as possible. And it’s just not the best thing you can do.
First, because the problems in this woman’s current relationship will in no way be acknowledged, let alone overcome. Why is she unhappy with her partner? What did he contribute? What did she do to help? Why is she still with him? Why did she even hook up with him? These are important questions that require smart answers. And so little time.
Secondly, because this woman would not get along with you because of you, but mainly because you would give her an easy way out of a difficult situation.
