Where would ski Switzerland be without Lara Gut-Behrami? This winter the picture will be grim – at least for women. Although several riders failed to get into shape or suffered injuries, Gut-Behrami shone. She won 15 of the 20 places on the Swiss podium and more than a third of all points. Even in international comparison, no one can compare to this. Good, better, good – Behrami!
The growing number of signs that she might give up skiing after this season scares her even more. While an exit at the climax would be appealing, Gut-Behrami doesn’t need it.
