Social justice in the era of globalization

In a globalized world like the present, social justice must be the central guiding goal all international, national and regional policiesin the face of a multitude of injustices and barrages of violence, which only increase the drama of misery, burdening the development of solidarity and preventing the establishment of a humane and just society.

Therefore, it is necessary to take awareness of the present reality and training for their future duties young people, who in the near future will be responsible for various cogs of society. The most beautiful thing in life is, of course, interest in each other. The barbaric and undignified conditions we suffer on all continents make us more barbarians than sensitive people. After all, the natural spirit makes us see, and must make us live with it, one for all and all for each.

Therefore, it is public and notorious that we do not follow these innate guidelines. The planet is faced with existential challenges like never before, but now the globalized world community, instead of reconciling, is increasingly fragmented and divided. Just a few days ago the head of the UN pointed out at the Munich Security Conference, that the international community must strengthen the global architecture of peace and security in order to face the prevailing challenges. Furthermore, he went so far as to state that “if countries fulfilled their obligations under the UN Charter, all people on earth would live in peace”. Indeed, unfortunately, governments everywhere often ignore these obligations and millions of civilians pay a terrible price, with record numbers killed or forced to flee.

Undoubtedly, promoting an agenda fair globalization focused on fundamental rights, together with dignified work, with the support of social protection and constant dialogue, we would improve environments with the power of cohesion, respecting their distinctive characteristics. It may therefore be healthy to reconsider new lifestyles. In my opinion, we have to get out of this atmosphere of appearances, misleading cults and stupid cultures, promoting the joy of coexistence, working hard for each other.

This is what makes us more human and also more energetic; to seethe with an open heart and, at the same time, to live with a culture of hugs as a leading concern. Let’s leave the chains that hold us let’s press, let’s protect the free horizons. What is not acceptable, therefore, is the denial of the harmony that unites us from the beginning; and, therefore, we must be more honest.

Honesty is perhaps the first commandment of friendship, which implies a path in the justice of fair play, with a horizon of dreams within the humanitarian reach of the common good. However, we lack hope. It is hard to believe, but it is so, even though we have reached the levels of development indeed the advantage, the horizon of inequality and the volcano of conflict dehumanize us for complete, with truly cruel and inhuman acts. Therefore, I am not surprised that there are more and more supporters of the creation of a World Coalition for Social Justice of universal scope. Indeed, we must focus everything on citizenship and base it on rights, with reciprocal obligations. Therein lies the key, in leaving this world of torment, the politically interested, that trap us and prevent us from flying in a relationship.

The creative spirit that we all carry with us must be put into action. Undoubtedly, it is necessary to respond to the multitude of abuses that leave us powerless, to improve the standard of living throughout the cosmos, to overcome the hurricane of indifference, and together to rebuild a family-oriented and more inclusive society, as the home of a lineage of thinking.

Because, really, everything is cultivated. It is not possible to sit idly by and be satisfied with what has been achieved so far. Solidarity like justice or the same tenderness, you have to work on them every day; and more, now, opening up to the world, but not as an instrument of domination, but as servants of those who have no voice, demanding the greatest social justice, us as a species, with a project of a decent life for all.
