The answer is to innovate tourism

A lot of criticism has been made PISA test results for 2023, but no one tried to deny that the results were due to marked economic inequality, a high perception of corruption and a large digital divide between the suburbs and cities of Panama. Stefania Giannini, UNESCO’s deputy director for education, faced with the results of the PISA test, concluded that fairness and inclusion should be the benchmark of all policies and that they do not prioritize them in practice. How to recover the lost economy?

National corruption did not prevent development from taking root. The point is that Panamanian Creole corruption is hidden but predictable, it is the cost of doing “business in the Isthmus”. In order for prosperity to be sustainable in the long term In the long term, corruption needs to be exposed, prosecuted and punished. We Panamanians would pay to see that the law is respected.

In order to close the copper and rare earth deposits in the Central American Biological Corridor in a self-sustaining manner; we can create a tourist market and sell the experience of the Park Ecological copper in Panama, where citizens I can experience how the orderly and systematic closure of the surface mine is carried out in the natural reserve, how it is reforested and enable themed pavilions about Panama’s historical struggles. Residents will benefit from direct and indirect tourism economic activity. That the closure will be paid for by cruise ship tourists, stopovers and other foreigners who want to learn about the topic and the annual tours that teachers from each Panamanian school would conduct together with parishioners of Panamanian churches.

To rent places for glamping, to swim in the forest in the Central American biological corridor. That the energy of the Cobre Panamá theme park comes from solar farms with perovskite panels and amplifies in the regionn green hydrogen electrolyzers in the region.

The most impressive and sought-after attraction is to safely board the fishing boats and drive at high speed in the harbor simulating a local fight against Asian jiggers. That at the end of the tour you can cool off on the beaches of the town with your residents and take it with you of beer as the union worked on the streets with the intervention police.

Let the park bring back Panama’s hope of obeying and respecting the Magna Carta disrespected by presidential candidate and former president Martinelli, and let us millennials take selfies in the park. Our version Yosemite, our Riviera Maya, our commune 13. Let’s sell the experience.

If there is paragliding, skydiving and bungee jumping tourism, there can be mine closure tourism with protective boots, helmets and masks with filters.

As Panamanian society invests more in tourism innovation, it will create more prosperity for its citizens, its anti-corruption systems will improve, the digital divide will decrease and Education will improve. The removal of corrupt representatives will not only be possible, but also very likely.

Mining is a resource extraction industry driven by investment in efficiency innovation, where the cost of resources is reduced as much as possible since the price Copper fluctuates on the market. Over-reliance on efficiency innovations does not push economies as far or create jobs as significantly over time as the market-creating innovation of mine closure tourism would. There are already mining robots in Asia that don’t get sick and don’t retire, much less pay social security.

Jobs that can be created Cobra Panama Ecological Park They will give dignity to people and improve their self-esteem, generating prosperity and multiplying the trust and transparency of their institutions. New markets for this tourism will create new forms of taxes for the country.
