Now is the time

Now is the time to hug, say “I love you”, “thank you”, “I apologize”, “I forgive you”; Now is the time when you need to reach out and give what others need.

Now you have to take a step forward and make peace with your rival. Now is the time when you have to let go of what hurts you. Leave that vice, that is, the friendship that does not suit you. Now is the time to kneel before God and ask forgiveness for your sins. Now is the time to say yes. Christ the Redeemerand accept him as your Lord.

Now is the time, now is the time, the only thing that exists, that you have in your hands, because yesterday no longer exists and the future has not arrived. Now it’s all you have and you can turn it into nothing if you let it go. How much lost time, which will not return; time gone, gone, with all its missed opportunities.

Time that is no more and works that are lost. A time that has passed and will never return. Postponing things, leaving everything for later, saying that you will do it tomorrow, otherwise it is a trap that is born from a lie that a person tells himself, so that in the end he does nothing. Are they mental delusions to calm the conscience and bury into oblivion an action that had to be performed, but which due to laziness, fear or any other convenience, will not be done.

Many people suffer by saying, “Oh, if only I had done this or that, or rejected that.” “If I could go back in time, I would.” studied or defended that property, otherwise I wouldn’t have accepted that job that led me to ruin.” “If I had said yes to that job.” day was of great use, all were lost because they were postponed, left for tomorrow, a tomorrow that never came.

Now is the time to give thanks and glorify the name of God. To praise him. To sing his praises. To tell him how much we love him. Because this is the only moment we have, “now”. And this moment is the door to eternity, where the moment will be the eternal present. Where we will think in ecstasy about infinite beauty of God and we will enjoy his presence forever. Now is the time to tell the world that Christ Reigns, who is the king of the universe, who has all power and glory. Let’s take advantage of the present moment, where all life is summed up, summed up in this moment. Only at this moment do we have life in our hands.
