Corruption, water shortage, the lack of opportunities, malnutritionviolence on the street and in the home are problems that cannot be solved by pre-election promises.
These are realities that must be subjected to a serious process reengineered to identify its root and extreject it, but in turn replace it with a solution of character, if not permanent, which at least has the validity to cover an entire generation.
Charles Dunst, in his work “Defeating the Dictators: How Democracy can Prevail in the Age of Strongman”, questions the current state of democracies versus autocratic systems. In a subtle way, it describes how the so-called “good government” solves the quality of life of its citizens, by solving their basic needs, i.e. an efficient education and health system, fair and functional state institutions and a solid economy. What is worrying is when we realize that it doesn’t matter how those who rule us come to power, as long as we all live relatively comfortably.
Less than a year to the day D, we have not seen any serious or viable proposals. And there are none because it is the last on the list of priorities in the election proposal that we have before us. The current government with its candidate behaves as if “nothing happened there” and uses the mandate obtained from the electorate and the resources at its disposal, without worrying about the campaign.
In the absence of reasonable proposals, the current government takes over the worn-out script of the previous one and staged a judicial plot with the taste of bread and circuses. In different circumstances, with responsible and reasonable officers, the process in question would have been declared null and void because of the abundance of inconsistencies and inconsistencies. But since he is motivated by anything but justice, we allow it setting a disastrous precedent.
Hopefully those who have been clamoring for a beliefone day, they or someone around them, will not suffer the same fate.
What we are in for in 2024 is more than bringing one group or another to power. It could be a prelude to the appearance of force in the most unexpected limits, as a result of the deception and despair of a forgotten people. Organized members of the left with the support of foreign powers or soldiers masquerading in police uniforms today are the breeding ground for a future coup d’état. I want to ask those who feel like potential candidates today if they have applied for a second citizenship that would allow them to leave behind a country in ruins and lost hope.
Every story deserves a happy ending. That happy ending for Panama it is for the political class to reconsider at least once in its life, leaving its interests aside. we are on time to be together
look for problem solutions that affect us We must all contribute to the process of change. Let’s remember everything that unites us, ensuring a prosperous future for
