Sisyphus III

No alley led anywhere. We find ourselves stuck in a place, abandoned by all hope, unable to find meaning in a life that never had one. Now, locked between death, literal and metaphorical, we think about the punishment of King Sisyphus. A cunning regent who cheated even death itself. Condemned to repeat, a penitent, a futile and irrelevant punishment forever.

But maybe Sisyphus, trapped in the repetition of his sentence, like those who walk this crossroads today, will find a solution that could remove the already lost hope and restore the bright light of joy in the life of the absurdist. As Camus concluded, this fourth way out of the crossroads is hidden from the eyes of the desperate, hidden in plain sight. And that is that this path could not only attract a renewed vision of optimism into everyday actions an individual overwhelmed by absurdity but also, just like Sisyphus faced with the punishment of the gods, he will turn the punishment itself into a mirror of certainty that will reflect the virtue of a conscious future.
