Message to the community: no rights without obligations

Many of us first encountered social obligations during Corona. The pandemic is over, but social responsibility must not stop.

Generation Z Swiss grew up carefree, safe, and accustomed to prosperity. If necessary, the state will help.

Then the Crown came, and we all learned: in addition to rights, there are duties.

Many tried and stayed at home. They sacrificed two years of their youth to protect the elderly. It was unpleasant, but we learned how a society should work. Not everyone is for himself, but everyone has to contribute.

Does this attitude continue after the pandemic? Everyone is talking about climate change and the fact that Zuri Fäscht leaves mountains of garbage behind. As you know, the garbage collection will arrive the next morning. Those who work part-time pay less into the pension fund and demand the same in old age as those who work full-time.

This calculation does not converge. If you want rights, you must fulfill obligations. We must take on more responsibility in all areas of society.

There will not always be someone around to clean up the trash behind us. We must carry it ourselves.
