Pejorative definition of absurd, This mantle that covers what is beyond all logic, prevents many from finding within themselves new ways to overcome the heavy burden that surrounds the sad victim aware of his punishment. But roads are always ahead of those who come across this crossroads. In the previous monologue, I explained, from my biased, limited and bad vision, the first of the ways in which the absurdist finds himself, the first way of supporting the Absurd.

I must point out that I capitalize Absurd because, far from it refer to the adjective juicy and childishwe speak a philosophical problem to find meaning in the meaninglessness of life, to return to the foot of the mountain to carry the stone once more. In this second part, I will try to reveal the reality that is hidden in that second exit.

Previously, and as a summary, let’s remember what was hidden in the first corridor, the one that is sold as a simple solution, definitive and corrective to the absurd. Due to physical death, suicide, thinking that since nothing was found in the physical platform of the senses makes sense, it will be better to make a conscious and deliberate decision to leave this illogical and feverish panorama. But physical death allows the absurd to win and is not the right solution. Putting an end to life in order not to face the madness of endless repetitive futile actions is not a solution to the Absurd. So, as I already said in the previous column, the first time is not a way out of the absurdity of living.

But let’s look at each other, we won’t go the first way, we can’t even go back because that would mean involution, we have two more roads left at this intersection. The second, holy and reflective, sings psalms to us and invites us with its scent of incense and myrrh. In it there are theologians, priests and snakes who, with spells and prayers, stories, sermons and parables, calm the agitated absurdist. Peace of mind surrenders the burden to a superior beingfor divinity, the calmness of letting God take over the reins of absurdity is nothing but another way of suicide, spiritual suicide, it is the only solution to a great problem to begin with.

Because, even with divine intervention, the intercession of the saints and the healing hand of St Virgin, absurd it remains valid, even when our mind does not take it into account. Because the repetitive repetition of the illogical monotony of an absurd life is something inherent in the everyday life of the human situation. And while religion may help the absurdist reshape his spirit, it is not the real solution to the problem of the lack of logic in one’s existence. Only inner work, the conscious construction of the intimate in the absurdist, could alleviate the problems that stand out in the barrage of anxiety that flourishes when the Absurd appears.

We have reviewed and passed three of the four routes that make up this intersection, we just have to explore the one in which Camus, Nietzsche, Diogenes and company and they walked We miss that third way, that hidden corridor at work to get to it. But this cross, this crossroads, is shrouded in death, whether physical or mental, which in one way or another, like a sausage, repeats itself over and over again all day, every day. The absurdity is complex, revealing and infectiousbut its existence should not dull the glow of a life that deserves to be lived.
