It was the Swiss Post who felt that a stamp celebrating the anniversary of such an organization needed to somehow create music, Suisa announced on Monday. The CHF 0.110 stamp can now be scanned using the Swiss Post mobile phone app.
According to the announcement, the woman on the stamp then starts dancing. This is to the sounds of a guitarist, a trumpet player, and a Schwyzerörgeler. Also coming is a 16-second short version of the Suisa anniversary song by Bernese rapper Greis. The letters SUISA rise at the end of the animation.
The stamp has been on sale in post offices since last week and was officially delivered to Suisa at the Prix Walo Gala on Sunday evening. According to the announcement, this is the first Swiss stamp to not only be animated, but also “include” music.
