Sick former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, 86, was able to leave the intensive care unit on Sunday. The Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera” reported that he is currently being treated in a normal ward at the San Raffaele clinic in Milan. On Sunday, “everything was fine”, according to the Adnkronos news agency of his brother Paolo (73).
Berlusconi was hospitalized on April 5 after complaining of respiratory problems. Doctors found a lung infection and declared leukemia. In the past few days, they had reported an improvement in the health of their prominent patients.
Berlusconi has struggled with many serious health problems in recent years. The multibillionaire had heart surgery in 2016 for intestinal obstruction in 2019 and was hospitalized for more than three weeks in 2021 due to the consequences of the corona infection.
