According to Forbes, HSV fan Klaus-Michael Kühne is currently the richest person living in Switzerland.

According to “Forbes”, Kühne’s fortune increased by two billion in the past year alone, and even by 11 billion last year. Forbes now ranks him 29th among the richest people in the world.

They also have homes in Lenzerheide GR, Mallorca (Spain) and Hamburg. In the autumn, “Bilanz” listed him fourth on the list of the 300 richest Swiss, with an estimated fortune of 23.5 billion francs.

Klaus-Michael Kühne now includes both Roche heirs Hoffmann, Oeri and Duschmale (assets per balance sheet: 30.5 billion, third on the “balance sheet”) and Chanel owner Gérard Wertheimer (73) (” balance sheet»: 38.5 billion).

Only the Kamprad brothers, heirs to furniture giant Ikea (assets by balance sheet: 45.5 billion, #1 on the “balance sheet” list), can’t come close to Kühne with their $35 billion. However, the Ikea fortune is split between the 3 siblings, so “Forbes” places the three significantly below the “balance sheet” in the richest list.

The investor is also active in the tourism sector: He has transformed a 600-year-old castle on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca into a luxury hotel. According to his own statements, he invested approximately 38 million euros in the project and defines the hotel industry as his hobby.
