Women are allowed to do the same crap as men

class=”sc-3778e872-0 gWjAEa”>

Women don’t have to be better CEOs or bosses than men.

Feminism has always been not just about free breast cancer screening, but about the right to success, money, fun and reputation as the most successful men.

Trim-you’s best-selling book “Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere” came out in 1994 and encouraged egomania. The female and very long moral sex is ruthlessly driven to pursue its own interests – of course with the promise of being richer, stronger, happier.

Millennials also had a glimmer of hope: the “girl boss”. A girl boss is usually a young woman who has turned her passion into a business idea and is thus extremely successful. She is celebrated for embarking on all that life has to offer. The girl boss winked at the old white man from the fast lane with effortless confidence. Such role models are (or have been) fitness app founder Kayla Itsines (Australia) or sex shop founder Lea-Sophie Cramer (Germany) or fashion entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso (USA). The latter wrote her story, “#Girlboss” filmed by Netflix. And who in Switzerland can be the boss girl? Magdalena Martullo Blocher?

In any case, role models are a tried and tested way to expand the idea of what one can achieve. Unfortunately, the girl-boss idea has lost its appeal again. What was initially read as feminist self-empowerment was soon criticized and bankruptcy as allegations of neoliberal business practices, money greed, abuse of power and a toxic work environment came to the fore. Disappointed and surprised, it was discovered that women are no better CEOs or bosses than men.

This astonishment continues. And he likes to turn into contempt. Currently, for example, because the majority of the board members of the defunct Credit Suisse are women.

But feminism can be eradicated when women can overturn the same things as men without being particularly disgraced as women. But only then. Everything will be fine.

Ursula von Arx does not claim that CS succumbed because it never had a chairman or CEO. And he still thinks it’s scandalous. Von Arx writes on Blick every other Monday.
