This five-star hotel will set the standards in Mallorca. In the spring, Hotel Ikos Resort opens its doors in Porto Petro. Its new owners – the Greek Roxa Group – bought it and made a huge investment of 140 million francs. Located right next to the sea, the hotel complex has 319 rooms, suites and bungalows. More expensive accommodations have their own pool. And of course the sea view.
Operators of luxury hotels still have a problem. – According to the customer – they need staff with good training and experience. So 498 employees. It says “Mallorca-Zeitung”. It’s not an easy job in times of skilled labor shortages. Especially since the entire range of employees is desired.
Waiters, entertainers, shop assistants, maintenance technicians, gardeners, housekeepers, receptionists, masseurs/spa therapists, cleaners, cooks, public relations workers and drivers are sought. Hiring so many people in such a short time was a Herculean task.
