Twitter CEO Elon Musk has announced that he is resigning from the online service. Musk wrote on the online service Tuesday that he will resign as soon as he finds someone stupid enough to take the job, in response to a poll in which a majority of respondents voted to replace Musk as CEO. “He will then lead the software and server teams at Twitter,” Musk continued.
“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone stupid enough to do the job,” Musk said.
57.5 percent of those who participated in the survey initiated by Musk himself voted in favor of resignation. “Should I resign as Twitter head? I will stick with the results of this poll,” Musk said in the online vote.
Users can vote yes or no. At the end of the survey last Monday, 17 million Twitter users took the online survey. (AFP)
