Swiss generations know Reka. This stands for “Swiss Travel Fund Cooperative” – for resorts and Reka-Checks as a means of payment. Especially families can enjoy a cheap holiday thanks to Reka. Most resorts are located in Switzerland, some abroad.
From the first quarter of 2023, Reka will expand its offer: thanks to the new collaboration with the International Association for Healthy Aging (IAHA), spa guests will be able to relax at Reka resorts in the future. They should be able to complete their spa stay wherever they want. And not where there is currently an empty space.
this is how it’s done
IAHA offers those who need treatment a personalized offer of care, physiotherapy, support, nutrition and more. A suitable holiday flat or a suitable hotel room is then evaluated in Reka. Spouses, family members or the dog may be present during the stay at the spa. In this way, holidays and treatments can be combined for generations. Initially, the offer is not yet available at all Reka resort locations, but will be continually expanded.
Caring relatives and privately employed carers can be reimbursed for basic care services that are subject to health insurance, as IAHA has 20 cantons of Spitex permits. (SDA/rae)
