Twitter boss Musk doesn’t rule out bankruptcy

Tough times for Twitter employees. Twitter owner Elon Musk (51) told employees on Thursday that he was unsure of the company’s profitability. Therefore, a bankruptcy is not excluded.

This was reported by the news site “The Information” on Thursday. Musk is attending a meeting with Twitter staff, a source told Reuters. So far, there has been no official statement from the company or its bosses.

Musk laid off half of his workforce

Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion at the end of October. He resigned from previous boss Parag Agrawal (38) and other senior executives soon after. It then laid off about half of its workforce of around 7,000. (EU)
