The offer to Asia will be expanded with the resumption of the Zurich – Hong Kong route. Cathay Pacific and Swiss include destinations in their winter schedules. There has been an interim date regarding the corona that lasted for more than two years. From December, Cathay Pacific will fly twice a week from Zurich to Hong Kong on the Airbus A350. Switzerland is also reinstating the destination in its flight schedule, with five flights per week.
Better connected to Africa
Ethiopian Airlines provides better connectivity of Switzerland to Africa. Via the hub in Addis Ababa, passengers from Zurich now have a wide range of connections to other destinations on the continent, the airport said.
Ethiopia, Africa’s largest airline and a member of the Star Alliance, is planning its maiden flight from Zurich to Addis Ababa on 31 October. From then on, three weeks of connection are scheduled.

Anyone seeking European warmth during the colder months of the year now has the opportunity to travel with Chair Airlines to Las Palmas and Tenerife during the winter months. EasyJet also continues to fly from Zurich to Lisbon four times a week.

In the summer, Switzerland will fly to the southern English city of Bristol and operate three weekly flights from Zurich. In addition, bids to Eastern Europe and Germany will be increased.
