As Ems announced on Tuesday, January to September sales rose 10.7% to CHF 1.87 billion. In local currencies, the increase was 13.5%. As a result, revenues soared to a new high. Ems does not disclose profit figures for the first nine months.
Ems has also grown in individual business areas. Sales of high-performance polymers rose 10.6 percent to CHF 1.668 million. In particular, complete solutions are now implemented here that reduce energy and costs for customers. Specialty chemicals got 11.2 percent more per 203 million.
The ability to deliver is guaranteed
However, there are signs of economic slowdown around the world, and the Ukraine war is causing great uncertainty, especially in Europe. Increasing inflation makes price increases inevitable for customers. Their own projects would now be promoted even more. Ems prepared itself early in the event of an energy shortage and appropriate measures ensured the delivery capability even in the event of an energy shortage.
