The board of directors of Luzerner Kantonalbank proposed paying a dividend of 2.50 francs.

In terms of business success, which is a measure of banks’ operational performance, LUKB increased by 6.6 percent to 303.5 billion francs last year, the bank said on Thursday. As a result, LUKB obtained 265.4 million francs after allocation to reserves; This is 17.1 percent more than the previous year and the highest profit in its history.

The Board of Directors proposes to distribute a dividend of 2.50 francs. Last year, 12.50 francs were distributed, but the bank had made a 1:5 share split last year. Therefore the dividend remains constant. With dividends and state guarantees, as well as payment of taxes, the canton of Lucerne will receive approximately 95 million francs. (SDA)
