CosMc’s focuses on lemonades, teas, mixed drinks and cold brew coffee. As part of the testing, the first CosMc’s location will open this month in Bolingbrook, Illinois. It is planned to open several more branches in the coming months. The test chain’s concept is similar to that of rival Starbucks.

The fast food group wants to have about ten CosMc pilot locations in operation in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio areas by the end of 2024. The group’s board of directors has already announced that a new restaurant chain will open in the summer.

McDonald’s had previously presented a new growth concept that envisaged a significant expansion of McDonald’s branches. The company aims to have a total of 50,000 branches worldwide by 2027. McDonald’s has more than 41,000 restaurants to date and has announced that it will open 2,000 more by the end of this year.
