Ringier takes over magazine business: Ladina Heimgartner leads new media powerhouse

Ladina Heimgartner became the new CEO of “Ringier Medien Schweiz”.

After investing in leading media brands in Eastern Europe, Greece and Portugal, Swiss family company Ringier is also expanding its operations in Switzerland and acquiring Axel Springer’s shares in the Swiss joint venture Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland (RASCH).

New business unit “Ringier Media Switzerland”

Traditional Swiss magazine and magazine titles come together with Blick Group and marketing company Ringier Advertising under the umbrella of “Ringier Medien Schweiz”.

Current Blick CEO Ladina Heimgartner will head the newly created business unit “Ringier Media Switzerland” with approximately 1,000 employees with immediate effect. He remains a member of the Group Executive Board of Ringier AG.
