Peter Diethelm, who previously led the Migros cooperative in Eastern Switzerland, has been named CEO of the new Migros supermarket AG. Board members of the new business unit have also now been appointed: Guido Rast (President of the Lucerne Cooperative) has been appointed as President, Mario Irminger (President of the FMC General Directorate) has been appointed as Vice President.

Regional cooperatives Mario Caldelari (Valais), Mattia Keller (Ticino), Martin Lutz (Eastern Switzerland) and Reto Sopranetti (Aare) should also be on the committee. Hubert Weber, currently a member of the MGB administration, was delegated to the committee by the FMC.
