In 2022, enforcement authorities checked the wages and working conditions of 165,845 people in 37,134 companies under accompanying measures (FlaM), the State Economic Affairs Secretariat (Seco) announced on Tuesday.

The rate of violations in sectors with generally binding collective bargaining agreements decreased from 21 percent to 17 percent in the previous year. On the other hand, cantonal tripartite commissions (TPK) detected an increase in wage cuts from 13 percent to 16 percent among workers assigned to sectors where there is no binding minimum wage.

Undeclared business controls also raised 13,147 suspicions. In 3,044 cases, special authorities reported sanctions or other measures to cantonal control bodies. (SDA)
