Woman carried a “stone child” in her stomach for nine years – and died as a result

For nine years a woman carried a so-called stone child, now the woman has died. This is reported by the British Mirror. The object blocked the woman’s intestines and she died of malnutrition. A stone child is a fetus that has died in the womb encapsulated by lime.

According to the report, the woman had come to the United States as a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Upon arrival, she complained of abdominal problems. Doctors then conducted an examination using computed tomography. The presence of a fetus in the woman was established, the so-called stone child.

This dead fetus caused the discomfort and also put pressure on the intestines. However, the patient refused the surgery offered by the doctors, saying she could not do it through the heart, the “Mirror” reports. Nine years earlier, when the fetus died, doctors at the refugee camp where she was then confronted confronted her with several charges, the woman said: She engaged in “malicious machinations”, took drugs and killed the fetus.

According to the “Mirror” report, after this experience, the woman was very afraid of doctors and medical personnel, so that treatment would not have been an option for her. She also stated that she was previously “bewitched” in Tanzania, which was the reason for her current complaints.

The woman rejected the doctor’s urgent advice to have surgery, saying she was not afraid of death. Fourteen months later she died of malnutrition.
