He considers such flip-flops to be a categorical fashion taboo and advises to give preference to something else: for example, black shoes with a strap on the heel, which will help create a timeless look that does not look like you forgot to change after going to the pool.

“The problem is that they have too much,” says Anna. Also, in her opinion, such sandals visually flatten the leg and cut off the leg at the widest point, which makes the woman look more squat and massive. Instead of gladiators, Bey advises choosing sandals without an ankle strap – this will help maintain the proportions of the figure.

Anna does not condemn women’s desire to feel comfortable and does not believe that sneakers are a fashion “no-no”. However, she is sure that models intended for sports should not be worn outside the gym – you can always choose a fashionable alternative that is no less comfortable.
