There is probably no girl who is completely satisfied with her figure. Someone wants to look taller, someone – on the contrary, to remove a few centimeters of growth. Some dream of fuller hips, these do not know where to hide the forms – everything is generally “in the best traditions” of self-criticism.
So, to harmonize the proportions, you can …
Let’s say you’re not happy with broad shoulders. The first way to correct them is to align the opposite horizontal, i.e. the sides. To do this, we add volume to them: put on banana pants with tufts, try fluffy skirts, choose a dress with an emphasis on the waist and a sun skirt.
It turns out that you have visually “loaded” the lower part, and therefore the upper part does not look so massive. Likewise, this technique works in the opposite direction: if you want to “remove” wide hips, we choose jackets with shoulder pads and open tops.
You can use another, and exactly the opposite trick: to correct any part of the body, we work only with it. Legs must be lengthened – we choose swimsuits with a high neckline, trousers with a slight opening, platform shoes, wedge sandals, shoes with a pointed shell. We want to “make” our waist – we wear dresses with a belt, high-waisted skirts, fitted jackets. Easy, right?
The third way is to simply divert attention away from the problem area. Most often, asymmetry is used for this: for example, broad shoulders are “treated” by one-shoulder tops, short stature – skirts and dresses with slits on the sides. Vertical asymmetric patterns will also help us, for example, lines that “leave” along the figure – this optically slims the silhouette.
