How to wear a coat in spring – remember these rules to make it the most fashionable

Finally, you can take off the bulky down jackets and put on lighter and more elegant coats. It is a completely versatile outerwear that can be easily combined with women’s dresses, pantsuits and sports sets.

Let’s take a closer look at some great coat looks that can be easily replicated.

A very good solution can be a combination of contrasting styles, namely sports and classic. The main thing is to find the perfect balance. As a base, you can take a simple sweater or sweatshirt and pants in a sporty style with elastic. On top, we put on a strict coat with a classic cut and complete the outfit with a trendy baseball cap, urban sneakers and a neutral everyday bag. As you can see, nothing unnecessary and supernatural, but the image turned out not only fashionable, but also comfortable.

A monochromatic look always looks organic and appropriate. In spring, we advise you to retreat from black and other very dark colors and rely on lighter ones: white, milky, beige, sand, pastel, gray and so on. If it seems to you that the bow turned out to be too boring, a bright handbag in one of the trendy colors of spring 2022 (pink, green, yellow, orange, purple, blue, emerald) will come to the rescue.

After a long winter, I really want to add bright colors to my wardrobe and everyday look. We recommend trying the following combination: a neutral coat over a contrasting set of things. As a base, you can use a colorful pantsuit, a flying maxi dress, a midi skirt and a sweater – generally what you have in your closet and suits your preferences in terms of color combinations.

When it comes to short coats, this season, slightly loose mid-thigh coats are relevant. Such outerwear can be worn with a pantsuit, with basic jeans and a sweater, and with a feminine dress or midi skirt. Look for pastels and plaid prints.

Fans of the classics are advised to pay attention to a long straight-cut coat with a turn-down collar. It can be worn, for example, over a cropped shirt and business trousers with men’s pleats. As the final details – a bag with a solid frame and moccasins. Pants can be replaced with a pencil skirt and high boots.

So that the image with an oversized coat does not seem baggy, you need to correctly place the accents. We offer to complement the outfit with a small textured bag in a light color. To lighten the bottom, wear neutral shoes. And don’t forget to add an accent color to the look, allowing you to structure the look with a dimensionless coat.

If you are wearing a short dress, then it is better to complement it with high boots (even if you are wearing a long coat). It is warmer and the image looks more solid. If the dress or skirt is long, then make sure that the hem does not peek out from under the coat. In rare cases it looks good, but most often it makes the image sloppy.
