Only jeans and only a sweater: how to choose, so as not to be confused Fashion

When I communicate with clients, answer subscribers’ questions, sort their looks and just observe women on the streets, I often notice that the most common combination of clothes is jeans and a sweater. At least in the cold season. These are things that many of us just pull out of the closet and put on without thinking. But how often it is precisely this combination that makes our image completely useless – faceless, boring and dull.

To begin with, I will tell you a recipe for how to wear jeans and a sweater to make them look much more interesting. It’s very simple: you have to wear them separately. These two things together make for such a comfortable lounger that many women will forgive. To avoid this, you need to add contrast to the image.

The roughness, volume, “softness” and “looseness” of sweaters will play better not with jeans, but with softer and softer materials. Or, on the contrary, textured, but holding its shape, classic. What does it mean? That sweaters and sweatshirts are best combined with skirts and trousers.

Denim is a strong, rough and extremely non-plastic material. It is therefore often seen as a work material on a daily basis (in fact, it was originally a fabric for work overalls). That’s why even jeans need a contrast: with romantic frills, with sexy blouses, with strict shirts, with elegant materials (lace, velvet), with classic jackets and coats.

In general, it is clear that the simplest recipe for successful use of jeans and a sweater is not to combine them at all. But what if you still want to? What will make the combination of jeans and sweater stylish and interesting?

A strict jacket that will make this whole casual look more serious and collected.

A coat or trench coat works well. But there is a risk: if we put on a stylish coat for a simple combination of jeans and a sweater, then later, when we entered the room and took off our outerwear, we will be left again in faceless jeans and a sweater.

Very plastic sweaters are chosen in combination with jeans. They are worn casually off the shoulder, tucked into a belt, and the like. A lot of accessories are often added here, which only stretch the whole image.

Shoes that will become the center of the whole image.

Scarves that attract almost all attention. Belts. And the unusual texture of the sweater. Another option is a blouse or shirt that peeks out from under the sweater.
